#ft my poorly drawn monstera leaves for vibe #I was thinking abt shinx and luxray like. I know theyre supposed to be lions but I feel like cheetah or serval would work well too #like with electricity and stuff. wouldnt speed and agility make more sense for an electric type? esp a cat shaped electric type?#maybe it would be ok for luxray to be heavy built because itd be really big by then. but I thought hey it would be cool if its preevolutions #could focus on speed for escaping. escaping and hunting yknow #maybe this is just because I watched a cheetah documentary last night and thought they were cool #I also have a hc that luxray can charge up electricity and make its whole body glow like an x ray #like you can see it’s bones through the blue parts of skin. either as a threat display or courtship #the shinier and bluer the fur is the better you can see the bones. which would mean its feeding itself well #but Im not a biology expert Im just using what I learned from birds LOL #so sososo normal abt luxray line (is my favorite pokemon)#my art #myart #pokemon #illustration #shinx #Luxio #luxray #luxray line

hey can I get some prayers/possibly advice? some friends of mine are in a real bind with one of their dogs, who I happen to absolutely ADORE, and I'd love to help in some way but I don't know how

#she's a super high energy high drive bird dog and can be really destructive bc she can't be out hunting all the time #obviously. both her people have full time jobs. but she needs more enrichment and mental stimulation #I have time in my week most weeks. I think this dog would love and benefit from learning to do agility #or something similar like that. but I'd have to find a place nearby/be able to afford the training #and idek if the dog's owners would even want that. but I love this dog and they love this dog so I want to help somehow #Lu rambles #prayer request

this trial had EVERYTHING. knocked bars. technical difficulties. blown teeters. bad handling. good handling but Jay blew me off and did what he wanted anyways. flawless dogwalk contacts that meant nothing because he popped the weaves for no reason. and a perfect 6.7YPS JWW run with one singular bar to make me go insane.

#literally what did I expect for doing zero agility for two months though lmao #one day I’ll learn how to achieve consistency! but not anytime soon #anyways! jay is perfect and beautiful and I love him even when he’s silly #Willow is also good don’t worry she just stayed home this weekend #it was cold & wet & nasty- she was happier at home #dogs #jay #video #Youtube

the problem with tangle is she was written as an s tier character out of the gate, so you can’t really give her a character arc. she’s at the peak. you have to make her worse in order to make her better

#talking about how tangle physically - emotionally - intelligently - was great in all those categories #strong & agile & able to keep up with sonic’s friends; fight badniks already; even tackle super badniks or at least help to #emotionally? T&W. issue 24 in an awful situation & reassuring sonic who is in the same situation.#<- trying to check in on tails while he’s worried about sonic being infected #<- reassuring belle that her father would be proud of her #intelligently? she’s obviously not written as a genius like eggman or tails but thats not what i mean #she is sharp - finding creative applications of her tail; ie slingshotting sonic & blaze up; forming a harness to help carry whisper #-during the metal overlord arc; using the surprise factor of her tail to steal whisper’s mask in T&W 1; the simple ploy she tries with-#-orbot & cubot during her adventure with belle that ends up giving them info. she’s resourceful!#so the problem is if your character is already great at all these things. but you want to develop them as a character. AND not-#-overshadow every other character. you need to downgrade them first #so collapsing tangle to comic relief + physical brawler + happy-go-lucky & sacrificing her depth lets you make more problems #but the problem that causes is: you pretty obviously had to downgrade her for that. so its not satisfying when the arc concludes & -#-she learns. it’s like the multiple times in ben 10 where ben learns ‘oh saving people isnt for fame its for good’#OS with animo. UA. OV’s hypnomoth episode. he relearns this because if ben already knows this he’s simply a Good Hero #and that’s not as interesting as making him bad at things and wondering if he pulls through.

As a professional dog trainer I love when owners tell me their dog has stranger danger so please don't try to get in their personal space or take the leash. A freaking plus advocacy for the dog.

I will happily take the time to make sure a dog is comfortable with me before asking them to do anything. My ego is not more important than setting a dog up for success.

baby was getting tired towards the end of agility class so he sat down while doing his paws trick

#we're doing foundations agility again because the first foundations class we did was like 3 years ago and I forgot everything #well #not everything #a lot of the stuff we're learning he does have some background in #but my mechanics need a lot of work and his focus needs some fine tuning #its so much fun though #the only reason I couldn't do it more often was because it was hard to fit it in with my schedule and how far I had to drive #but now I moved somewhere intentionally close to an agility facility and we could walk there if we wanted to #which I will want to if the next round falls on my day off #and if I could build up his stamina... lol #i think both our muscles atrophied never leaving the house because it was so goddamn hot all the time when we lived in fl #we're catching up now though!#slowly but surely #agility #classes #kovus face #ckcs #kovu #dog sports

well... alright after she eventually gets better she could do a backflip. normal Sparrows can do it, why shouldn't the depression version with more hands on experience from slug life

Now that things have calmed down somewhat, perhaps it's time for me to get my Hisuian battle style classes going again. I had almost forgotten them- I haven't held one since Emmet was injured, and after that, things were simply too hectic, but I believe they can continue once again!

Agility practice tonight was pretty good.

First run I put the piggy on a table just outside the ring. I had to call his attention back to me a few times and at the end he helped himself to it by jumping on the table and then back into the ring to punch me with it.

Second run I had a classmate hold it out of sight, he stopped to look for it once but stayed with me. At the finish I had the person toss it into the ring and he happily bought it to me.

Third run we did the same with the piggy except he didn't look for it until the end. Which leaves me feeling hopeful about the trial.

The last few minutes we talked about the trial. My instructor and classmates described the set up and flow of things. And the people who will be there the days I will invited me to sit with them and help with anything I might. That makes me feel the most reassured.
